Last fall Cindy and Doug took two trips to work with YWAM's University of the Nations in Kona. They were invited to lead worship for the Advisor Board’s meeting and to help develop and raise awareness of YWAM's new initiative that focuses on the training and equipping of believers with disabilities. Preparing artists along with their crutches, wheelchairs, and canes – their inabilities to see, hear, or walk-- to be sent out as part of the "missionary teams" that travel the world.
Collage will serve as advisors and hopefully be actively
involved in ongoing training and equipping artists with disabilities to present
their art, whether music, dance, visual, theater, etc. As you know, Cindy and
Doug have been involved in working with both disabled and able-bodied artists in
our local communities. This opportunity makes way an opportunity to influence on
a larger scale- "into the world..."
